Ingredients:
• 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
• 2 cups broccoli florets
• 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
• 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1/4 cup oyster sauce
• 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1 cup beef broth or water
• 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
• 2 green onions, sliced
• Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Sauce:
• In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, and beef broth or water. Set aside.
2. Cook the Ramen:
• Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
3. Cook the Beef:
• Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
• Add the thinly sliced flank steak and cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
4. Cook the Broccoli:
• In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil.
• Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry until tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
5. Cook the Aromatics:
• Add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil to the skillet.
• Add the minced garlic and ginger, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
6. Combine Everything:
• Return the beef and broccoli to the skillet.
• Pour in the sauce and stir to coat everything evenly.
• Add the cornstarch mixture to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
7. Add the Noodles:
• Add the cooked ramen noodles to the skillet and toss to combine with the beef, broccoli, and sauce.
8. Garnish and Serve:
• Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
• Serve immediately.
